The new West Market Lofts in Exeter are in the final stages of construction after delays due to the harsh winter and rainy summer. The new building has 66 units, both residential and commercial.
John Knifton, Principal and managing partner at JK development, the developer for the project, says that they were delayed due to the winter, but they still did what they could during those months to get some work done.
The hope is for the units to be ready to be occupied in January or February 2022. Knifton added that future tenants will be getting a very modern and light unit.
Knifton says that there is already a massive interest in the units, with over 100 people having registered expressing their interest. He also added that though the pricing may be a little higher than what is normally seen in Exeter, there is a lack of rentals in Exeter, and the units are also worth it.
