The Ontario Government announced Friday they they are going to be bringing high-speed internet to Lucan Biddulph. They are investing $307,327 to increase access in the area to 104 new homes.
Monte McNaughton, MPP for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex said “The expansion of broadband to the Municipality of Lucan Biddulph will provide more families, farms, and small businesses in the region with the access to high-speed connections they need to build better communities for us all. I’m excited to see this work continue as we bring connectivity to more people across Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.”
The funding is coming from the Improving Connectivity for Ontario program, and will bring high speed internet to Lucan Biddulph, Rideau Lakes, Saugeen Shores and Kincardine. This is just another step in the provinces plan to have 100 per cent connectivity across the province by the end of 2025.
