It was a busy weekend in local hockey.
IN THE PJHL
On Friday: Carter Bowerman scored the winner as the Exeter Hawks beat Mt. Brydges 2-1.
Also on Friday: Lucan beat Dorchester 2-1 and Mitchell beat Wingham 5-1.
On Saturday: Mitchell lost a tough one 1-0 in overtime, Lucan beat Port Stanley 4-1, Goderich would lose 8-1 against Hanover and North Middlesex was blanked 1-0 against Mt. Brydges.
And on Sunday: North Middlesex shutout Dorchester 5-0 and Goderich would lose a close one 6-4.
IN THE GOJHL:
On Friday night: Listowel lost to Ayr 4-2, St. Marys beat London in a shootout 4-3, and Stratford doubled up Elmira 6-3.
On Saturday both Stratford and St Marys would lose.
And on Sunday, Stratford edged out Listowel 4-3.
IN THE OHL
On Friday Sarnia lost 7-3 against Windsor before bouncing back with a 6-1 win on Saturday over Saginaw.
IN THE WOAA
On Friday: Clinton beat Ripley 5-1
On Saturday: Seaforth beat Saugeen Shores 4-1
AND IN THE WOSHL
Stratford beat Alvinston 6-1.
