With the exception of today, the above average weather trend of this year seems to be continuing as we head into the weather months, at least that’s what they are forecasting for the early winter months.
Gerald Cheng, Meteorologist with Environment Canada says that looking at November, December and January, it looks like it will be above average in the first few months of winter.
As for what to expect in this area, he says that the biggest worry comes from lake effect snows, where there can be major snow storms.
As for safety he says to make sure you have winter tires and also make sure that you adjust your driving for the winter.
