Close to $500 thousand is coming to support eight not-for-profits in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.
The investment is being made by the Province’s Community Building Fund which will help tourism, culture, sports and recreation facilities continue to provide programming.
As part of this initiative, the local non-profits receiving funding are:
Canadian Cowgirls ($37,100)
Friends of Ye Olde Towne Hall ($13,900)
Kee-mo-kee Camp Site of the United Church of Canada ($49,200)
Lucan Area Heritage & Donnelly Museum ($33,200)
Middlesex Centre Archives ($24,200)
Royal Canadian Legion Caradoc Branch 251 ($42,300)
Wallaceburg and District Museum ($50,000)
Walpole Island First Nation ($250,000)
