The Salvation Army’s Kettle Campaign is a staple across Canada during the holiday season, with them taking donations that they can then put right back into the community over the next year to help those who need it most. The campaign kicked off on Thursday November 18th and will run until Christmas Eve.
Lieutenant Derek Kerr, who, along with his wife is the Officer and Executive Director for the Suncoast Citadel, based in Goderich.
He says that this year, they are adding a tap option for people to donate, and you can be emailed your receipt.
Since they cover such a large area that they will have Kettles in Goderich, Kincardine, and Clinton.
