One Care has been a service that many people in the Huron and Perth Counties have needed throughout the pandemic.
The service provides rides to seniors and people with mobility and health issues who may not be able to drive. During the pandemic they also started delivering meals and groceries to those who couldn’t go shopping themselves.
Shelley McPhee-Haist, Community and Engagement Specialist with One Care said that this service has become vital to those who need it.
McPhee-Haist says that they are very grateful for their partnership with the United Way, as the support they’ve received from them was one of the ways that they were able to continue to help people throughout the pandemic.
She added that they are always looking for volunteers, more details can be found here.
