The Municipality of Huron East is looking to approve their budget at tomorrow (Tuesday) night meeting.
The budget is predicting roughly $20 million including $6.4 million in capital expenditures.
Over $2.4 million is budgeted for the expansion and renovation of the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre, and over $1.2 million is being budgeted for the Princess Street reconstruction in Brussels.
Rate increases will be different for each area of the municipality.
Based on the annual residential assessment of $197 thousand home, the municipal share of the taxes are expected to go up $11 in Seaforth, $85 in Brussels, $110 in Tuckersmith, $112 in McKillop, and $120 in Grey.
