With the truck convoy protest still ongoing in Ottawa a local MP is questioning the reasoning.
MP for London North Center Peter Fragiskatos says that 90% of Canadians and people in the trucking industry are vaccinated, so the protest is being carried out by a small vocal minority.
He says while he believes in the right to peacefully protest, some demonstrators have gone too far.
He says the call for action from organizers to disband the government, and get rid of all mandates doesn’t leave much room for discussion.
He adds that truck drivers and Canadians in general cannot cross into the US without vaccines which further highlights that most people and countries agree with the mandates.
