Good news for vehicle owners.
Effective March 13th, the Ontario government has announced that it will no longer cost any money to renew licence plates or stickers.
This is for passenger vehicles, light duty trucks, motorcycles and mopeds.
Licence plates and stickers will still need to be renewed every one to two years but there is no cost except for any outstanding fees.
Anyone who has paid already will be refunded.
