A Lambton County man is facing a slew of charges after his large quarry truck was pulled over by the OPP.
Police observed that the driving in violation of the Highway Traffic Act on Egremont Road in Warwick Township and 45-year-old Steve A. Verberne was taken into custody.
Further investigations after the arrest showed that Verberne was involved in the previous blockade of Highway 402, which is being investigated under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch.

The accused is also charged with the following HTA offences:
· Disobey Stop Sign – Fail to Stop contrary to section 136(1),
· Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle – Improper Licence contrary to section 32(1),
· Fail to Surrender Commercial Vehicle Operator Registration contrary to section 16(4),
· Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle – No Insurance contrary to section 23(3), and
· Drive Motor Vehicle – Not Equipped With Interlock Device contrary to section OREG 287/08 11.
