The West Perth community continues to mourn the tragic passing of 10 year old Taleya Paris.
The young girl fell through the ice at Whirl Creek near Mitchell, which led to a 9 day search.
Fire Chief of West Perth and Perth East, Bill Hunter says the local fire department got support from many different resources.
Hunter says the support from the community was also incredible.
As for support for firefighters following the search, there is a chaplain for people to talk to, along with an Employee Assistance Plan, and an Internal Peer Support Team.
