Restoration on the Blyth Tunnel has started.
Several years ago the tunnel was demolished and backfilled leaving a part of the G2G rail trail open to the highways.
Doug Cerson, the Executive Director of the G2G Charity explains why the tunnel needs to open up again.
the G2G charity is taking donations for the tunnel to be completed.
The tunnel will cost $400,000 – $500,000 dollars to complete. The goal of the tunnel is to create a safe place for hikers, walkers and wheelers to safely get across the road by going under it and not infront of traffic.
