Students from St. Anne’s Catholic Secondary School’s Anti-Racism and Culture Club won first place in the LUSO Make Your Mark Against Racism contest for secondary schools.
Azana a grade 13 student, is apart of the Anti-Racism and Culture club. This year, her and her friends made a video that talks about youth mental health and racism.
Malaikum is a grade 11 student apart of the club. He and his friends thought it would be good to add a personal touch on their award winning video.
Lain a grade 11 student, is apart of the Anti-Racism and Culture club. She says they are ready to start the conversation on mental health and racism.
The video focuses on metal health for youth in the bipoc community.
