The United Way’s annual campaign brought in over $2.2 million.
Lori Shatto the Manager of Community Development for South Huron and Area says that money will really go to support people locally.
Thanks to funding from the United Way 50 women and children were able to escape violence, and 22 children and youth were matched with a mentor.
