Today is election day!
myFM covers 3 ridings including Huron-Bruce.
The original riding was created in 1934, and has undergone some transformations over the years.
In history there have been 5 Liberal winners, 1 NDP winner, and 3 Conservative winners including incumbent Lisa Thompson who has held the seat since 2011.
In the 2018 election, Thompson captured 52% of the vote, in 2014 she got 39% of the vote and in 2011 Thompson got 42% of the vote.
Also running in Huron-Bruce is Liberal Shelley Blackmore, Laurie Hazzard for the NDP, Matt Kennedy for the New Blue Party, Matthew Van Ankum for the Green Party, Gerrie Huenemoerder for the Ontario Party, Bruce Eisen for the Alliance Party, and Independent Ronald Stephens.
