Today is election day!
myFM covers 3 ridings including Lambton-Kent-Middlesex.
Incumbent PC Monte McNaughton has been in power since 2011, and hasn’t gotten less than 45% of the vote since taking office.
In the last election in 2018 McNaughton got over 55% of the vote.
The riding which was created in 1999 has seen a Conservative winner, a Liberal winner take two terms, and now McNaughton is aiming for term 4.
Up against McNaughton is Liberal Bruce Baker, David Barnwell from the New Blue Party, Vanessa Benoit representing the NDP, Wanda Dickey for the Green Party, Dean Eve for the None of the Above Party, and Aaron Istvan Vegh is representing the Ontario Party.
If you haven’t voted yet you still have time as the polls are open until 9 PM.
