The Ontario provincial election has wrapped up and the PC party has captured another majority.
Locally in Huron Bruce incumbent MPP Lisa Thompson captured over 52% of the vote and won the riding by over 15 thousand votes.
Matt Kennedy represented the New Blue Party locally and he finished in 4th place with 7.2 % of the vote which equaled over 3300 total votes.
myFM spoke with Kennedy who says he ran a good campaign.
In terms of running in the next election Kennedy says as of right now that’s the plan.
The New Blue Party didn’t capture any seats but were in the middle of the pack in most ridings.
