Homes sold locally in the month of May were down over 14 percent.
The Huron Perth Association of Realtors reported that only 214 units were sold this May.
But the benchmark price for a single-family home was up over 23% to $652,400 in May.
To date 883 homes have been sold during the first five months of the year which is down 9.2 % from last year.
