The Huron Perth Hospital Alliance has updated their hospital policies.
With mask requirements for most settings now lifted in the Province, HPHA has made the decision to continue with masking requirements.
COVID-19 screening will also remain, as will the HPHA’s Immunization policy for staff, midwives, physicians, contractors and volunteers.
The local hospital alliance is removing the requirement for family and caregivers to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Guidelines around families have also been updated to allow for two family members or essential caregivers per day, and one person for outpatient appointments.
Outdoor visits can also be arranged for any patient that can be safely transported.
