A local family from the Parkhill area have been named the 2022 Ausable Bayfield Conservation Area’s Conservationist of the Year.
The award was handed out to Denys Farms Inc, who have been early adopters of practices to sustain and improve soil on their farming operation.
The pork and cash crop producers have practiced no-till farming for more than 25 years.
