Huron County has just awarded some local businesses for their work to improve accessibility.
The Counties Accessibility Awards Program celebrates businesses and people who are working to build more inclusive communities.
Winners this year in the private sector include: Sweet N Treats in Blyth, the McDonalds in Wingham, and Deams Holding Inc/Blyth Library.
The public sector winner this year was the Huron County Museum and Library.
A summary of the efforts put forward by each business and organization, can be found on the following web link: www.huroncounty.ca/administration/accessibility
