As myFM told you on Friday, the U.S. Supreme Court has made the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
The decision dates back to 1973 and protected a pregnant woman’s liberty to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restriction.
Following a leak of the decision back in May, myFM spoke with Dr. Kathryn Norlock of Trent University and she believes this is a big step backward.
Norlock says access wasn’t awesome to begin with but it was considered federally protected and now it won’t be and that is concerning.
