myFM has been bringing you reaction to the Roe V Wade decision in the US, which ended constitutional protections for abortions.
We spoke with Carolyn Egan spokesperson with the Ontario Coalition for Abortion Clinics, who tells us despite seeing the leaks that this would happen the news was devastating.
She adds to this day people are still dying due to getting abortions done from places not properly equipped to handle the procedure.
Egan says the decision may have been based in the US, but the organization has been fighting for a long time as areas of Canada are still struggling with the topic of abortion.
The OCAC believes that everyone should have the option to decide what they want to do when it comes to having children, and laws need to be in place to protect the decision.
