Police have identified the person involved in a fatal crash on Monday.
First responders were called to a collision on MacDonald Road near Parr Line just before 5 PM.
The investigation has revealed that an SUV was traveling eastbound when it collided head-on with a bridge guardrail.
The driver and only person in the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene and they have been identified as 48-year-old John Freeswick from Dashwood.
MacDonald Road remains closed between Parr Line and Ausable Line.
