It’s that time of year when everyone is outside and working on gardens and yard work.
It is incredibly important to know how to safely use your power tools and equipment.
Be sure to read the instructions, inspect your equipment every time before you use it, remove rocks, sticks, toys and other debris in your yard before using equipment to avoid injuries and breaking something and make sure to always wear protective gear!
Never operate equipment with a frayed cord and never let kids operate or ride a lawnmower.
Protective gear includes: Closed-toe shoes, work boots, safety glasses and hearing protection. Loud noise from power garden equipment can gradually cause permanent hearing loss and the inability to hear warning sounds.
