Hospital staffing issues are plaguing much of the province and we are starting to really feel the pinch locally.
Two local hospitals will see Emergency Department closures this week due to the issue.
The Clinton Hospital Emergency Department will be closed today, and only open between 8 AM and 2 PM tomorrow (July 12) before resuming regular reduced hours of 8 AM until 6 PM on July 13th.
The Seaforth Hospital Emergency Unit will close at 5 PM tomorrow, before being open 7 AM until 5 PM on the 13th and 14th.
Regular hours of operation which is 24/7 will resume in Seaforth on July 15th at 7 AM.
Anyone requiring immediate medical attention is asked to call 9-1-1 and then paramedics will take you to the closet open community hospital.
