Reports say a boating accident south of Pickle Lake was the cause of death for Mayor Grace.
An investigation is still underway.

UPDATE:
myFM has learned that Goderich Mayor John Grace has passed away.
On Wednesday, Huron County Council, held a moment of silence to honour Grace, while the Huron Chamber of Commerce also paid tribute.
Reports say an accident of some sort claimed the life of Grace a huge community supporter, but no details have been officially released.
Grace was involved in the tourism industry for over 30 years, and was actively involved in many community committees.
He was elected as Mayor of Goderich in 2018 and was on the ballot seeking re-election.
