Huron County OPP laid 226 charges during the Labour Day long weekend.
Officers focused on the big 4 causal factors of crashes including: imapired, distracted, and aggressive driving, as well as not wearing a seatbelt during the campaign which ran from September 2-5.
164 charges were laid due to speeding, there was one impaired driving charge, 7 seatbelt charges and 54 other traffic charges.
Police also investigated 10 collisions during the campaign.
