It’s expected that a verdict will come this week in the court case of a former golf pro from Seaforth.
On Tuesday, testimony started and ended in the Cameron Doig trial.
The 63 year old is facing seven charges for sexual offences including sexual assault, invitation to touching and touching someone under 14 for a sexual propose.
A victim told the court on Tuesday that alleged incidents took place in the mid 1990s at the Seaforth Golf and Country Club when she was between 12 and 17.
The victim said it started with comments about her body, which the led to inappropriate touching and sexual assault.
Doig also took the stand and denied ever touching or speaking inappropriately to the victim.
The jury will return on Thursday with a verdict to follow.
Doig is also facing other historic sexual offence which are unrelated to this case.
He was also charged with indecent assault in May, and in July of 2020.
Doig is also facing a civil suit in relation to historical sex offences.
