The United Way of Perth Huron recently announced their campaign goal for the year of $2.289 million.
Executive Director Ryan Erb tells us that all the funds raised locally stay local.
Erb says the United Way aims to address needs by implementing programs and services.
One of the programs the United is implementing is the Community Renewal Company.
Erb says the program will build housing for the most vulnerable populations as well as affordable housing for people living and working in the local community.
