Guilty!
That was the verdict from the jury in the case of 63 year old Seaforth man Cameron Doig.
The jury found the former golf pro guilty of one count of sexual assault, one count of sexual interference and two counts of sexual exploitation.
The offences happened between 1995 and 1998 at the Seaforth Golf and Country Club which is owned by Doig’s family and he worked there for 25 years.
It took the jury around 4 hours to reach the guilty verdict.
The Crown attorney asked for the judge to revoke Doig’s bail but that motion failed and Doig is able to return home until his sentencing.
The sentencing will take place on October 28th in Goderich.
