The Town of St. Marys is raising awareness and education for Nation Day for Truth and Reconciliation which takes place on September 30th.
The St. Marys Museum will be hosting interactive sessions from the 28th until the 30th about residential schools, along with two exhibits that explore Indigenous themes and topics.

The #hopeandhealingcanada project, created by Métis artist Tracey-Mae Chambers features red yarns that illustrate connections between Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people with Canadians, while also addressing the decolonization of public spaces.
