The Lake Huron Coastal Centre received a grant of $36,000 from the Resilient Communities Fund grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The grant will help the Centre to work with marketing, fundraising strategies, and human resources professionals to develop new strategies, while providing staff with opportunities to expand their skill sets.
The good news coincided with an opportunity to celebrate the end of a successful third and final year of the new Coastal Conservation Youth Corps program, which was funded by an earlier, $205,000 OTF grant from 2020.
