October 15th is Hunter Costello Day. It is also his Birthday. This year would be Hunter’s 9th Birthday.
Ken Costello, Hunter’s Dad and also President of the Hunter Costello Memorial Foundation shared with myFM a little bit about Hunter.
On the 15th, there will be a charity Barbecue from 4 to 7 at the Goderich Memorial Arena, followed by a professional wrestling match.
Hunter was diagnosed with Infant Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2013 when he was just 8 months old. He unfortunately passed in February of 2017.
Ken says that now, they raise money to help other families in Hunter’s name.
Funds were also raised for the Hunter Costello Memorial Playground in Goderich.
Hunter is described as kind, love, sweet and forgiving. He loved to play and loved being outdoors.
