Doug Cook is the new Mayor of Lambton Shores, and he thanked the voters for picking him.
Cook beat Marilyn Smith 2922 to 1776.

Dan Sageman is the Deputy winning handily.
Glen Baillie is the lone new councilor with Dave Maguire (Ward2), Lorie Scott (Ward 3), Scott Ferguson (Ward 5), and Jeff Wilcox (Ward 7) being re-elected.
Ronn E Dodge (Ward 4) and Dave Marsh (Ward 6) were acclaimed.
