A packed house filled the Kirkton-Woodham Community Centre on Thursday night for the South Huron Business and Community Excellence Awards.
The 6th annual event was emceed by Krista McCann, the Executive Director of the South Huron Hospital Foundation.
10 awards were given out during the event.
Award winners included:
Business of the Year under 15 employees- Exeter Massage Therapy
Business of the Year over 15 employees- Huron Motor Products.
Entrepreneur of the Year- Katie Sigurdson from Jolt Fitness
Agriculture/Manufacturing Excellence- Hyde Brother Farm Equipment
Construction Excellence- Durand Heating & Cooling Ltd
Customer Experience- Tammy Sparling at The Quilt Kitchen.
Youth Excellence- Lucas Dobson
Citizen of the Year- Andrea Loohuizen
Community Advancement Award- Team Reid McDonalds
Lifetime Achievement Award- Mike and Michelle Hansen from Hansen’s Independent Grocer.
