Local police made a dent in the local drug trade last week.
On October 27th police executed search warrants at two properties in Vanastra.
Police seized meth, Fentanyl, and Hydromorphone with a street value of over $38 thousand.
Police also seized $1500 in cash, a cell phone, 3 guns, ammunition, various knives, brass knuckles and throwing stars.
5 people are facing charges in connection to the warrant,
Those charged include:
44 year old Ronald Wagler from Huron East who’s been charged with possession of meth, Fentanyl and Hydromorphone.
44 year old Shelley Gardiner from Huron East who’s been charged with possession of meth, Fentanyl and Hydromorphone all for the purpose of trafficking.
46 year old Adam Richards from Huron East who’s been charged with possession of meth, Fentanyl and Hydromorphone all for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a weapon, and breach of prohibition orders.
43 year old Derek Paetz of no fixed address who’s been charged with possession of meth, Fentanyl and Hydromorphone.
And 37 year old Matthew Schrader from Central Huron who’s been charged with possession of meth, Fentanyl and Hydromorphone, failure to comply, and breach of prohibition.
