Over 22 percent of the United Ways fundraising campaign goal has been raised.
We spoke with Manager Community Development, Southern Huron, Goderich & Area, Michelle Field who says funds raised go towards local unignorable issues like homelessness, and mental health.
Last year over 2500 people were helped by programs and services offered by the United Way in Southern Huron County alone, including those offered by the South Huron Connection Centre.
