Huron County OPP nabbed the same man twice over the weekend for smash and grab crimes in Goderich.
On November 5th just before 11 PM, the suspect forced entry into a business on Huron Road, and made off with smokes, drinks and candy.
Police used the video surveillance to identify the man, and took 46 year old Matthew Hallman of no fixed address into custody just after 9 AM the next day.
He was charged with break and enter and failure to comply.
The man was released the same day following a bail hearing, but police would get another call about him.
Just before midnight, officers were called to a Bayfield Road business that had its main door smashed, and smokes, candy, drinks and a wireless speaker were taken.
Video surveillance proved it was the same man, and police arrested him on Monday, wearing the same clothes he was released from jail in.
Hallman was further charged with break and enter, failure to comply, and drug charges.
