The Ailsa Craig Santa Clause Parade is back for another year!
Ron Whitmore, President of the Ailsa Craig District Firefighters Association, who puts on the parade, says the parade will take it’s usual route.
Santa will be at the Ailsa Craig recreation Complex after the parade to greet kids and hand out some treats.
There is no registration for the parade floats. Whitmore asks anyone who would like to participate meet at Craigwiel Gardens on the East end of Ailsa Craig at 10am. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes for best floats.
The Ailsa Craig Santa Clause Parade was started in the 1960’s. Whitmore says he hopes for good weather and a good turn out to keep the community tradition going.
