A local tattoo artist wants to take hate off the streets.
Jon Champagne, of Pure Pain Parlour in Simcoe, is offering free cover ups of hate tattoos over the holiday season.
While sitting in his studio at the shop, he explained why this is important to him.
The shop is a judgement free zone and is welcoming those that want to change and improve their lives.
The artist said three people are already signed up to have cover ups done.
People coming from different walks of life have come to him for help before.
Those tattoos are now covered.
Champagne said the best way for the community to support this project is by sharing the shop’s post about it on Facebook so people from across the country can see it.
If you have a tattoo that is offensive or discriminatory and you are looking to have it covered up, send a message to Pure Pain Parlour on Facebook to start the process.
