The Grand Bend and Area Chamber of Commerce is warning of a local scam.
A company has been calling people stating they are from your hydro provider and scare people by saying they are months behind on payments.
The scammers will say your hydro will be turned off if you do not pay right away.
The Chamber and myFM warn everyone to not make payments over the phone, but rather hang up and call your hydro provider directly.
