myFM is taking a look back on 2022. We spoke with MPP for Huron-Bruce Lisa Thompson.
She says 2022 went by fast and the work never stopped.
Thompson says 2022 was another full year of COVID, and she commends Dr. Klassen, the Chief Medical Officer of Health for Huron and Perth.
Thompson also says she’s proud of the Farmer Wellness Program that was launched this year. The program helps farmers struggling with Mental Health.
The MPP shared that going into 2023, she is excited to bring health care home.
Ontario has acquired 27 MRI machines as well. Three of them will be going to Huron-Bruce.
One in Goderich, one in Wingham and one in Kincardine.
Thompson says she is also looking forward to improving and keeping up good communications with all the Municipalities in Huron-Bruce.
