Calling all mom’s in the area.
There is a new Mom’s group in Exeter that will be a place of inclusion, community, encouragement and a place for your child to learn and play without any agendas.
Hannah Baker, the organizer of the group tells myFM her oldest was born at the beginning of COVID, so she never had the chance to be a part of a mom’s group.
Meetings will be held every Wednesday at the Vitalpoint Church Offices at 63 Main St. from 9:30am to 11:30am, with the first meeting this Wednesday!
Baker says she didn’t understand what she was missing, because her normal at the time was a COVID world.
She also says the disconnection from everyone, especially her kids grandparents, was really hard.
The meetings are very relaxed. There is no obligation to be there every time and for the whole session. You can come and go as you please.
Baker says they have three main values: 1. This is a safe community for Mom’s to be. 2. It is a place of encouragement. 3. This is a place for kids to grow and learn together.
Baker says it’s also a place to have more grown up conversations as well. If you have any more questions, Baker has made a Facebook group. You can message her there and also post in the discussions. She says if anything comes up, or the meeting date/time needs to change, it will be posted there.
