Keep yourself and your children safe this winter by double checking safety equipment and weather conditions.
Make sure your children wear proper safety ear, like a helmet, for ice-skating and tobogganing.
Do not play by open bodies of water or busy roads. If you do ice-skate or play hockey on a frozen body of water, make sure the ice isn’t brittle anywhere.
And as silly as it sounds, put on sunscreen! UV rays are still hazardous in the winter time.
Use a neck warmer instead of a scarf and remove drawstrings and cords to prevent tangles and getting caught on objects.
If you’re ice-skating, always skate in the same direction as everyone else. If you’re a slower skater, try and stick to the sides.
