Short Term rental licences are now open in Lambton Shores.
At the June 7th 2022 council meeting, Council passed a new By-Law that all Short-Term rentals will need an annual licence to operate.
Registration is NOT the same as the licence, everybody with an STR (S-T-R) MUST have the annual licence.
The new licensing program will be put in effect on February 1st and the process is staggered over a few weeks. If you have previously registered your STR, you will be contacted by the Municipality about applications and deadlines.
If you’re planning on operating a new STR, you must have the STR licence before you advertise.
