This is the time of year when vehicle thefts become a bit easier for would be thieves.
The temperature has dropped, especially overnight, making a morning commute quite chilly and that car brisk if it’s not heated up.
That was Constable Ed Sanchuk.
While he understands that most people are trying to avoid the cold, he says the best thing you can do is go out to your car, turn it on, and work on clearing the vehicle as it warms up – this way the inside will start to heat up, the vehicle will be cleaned, and there is no risk of theft in between.
