Applications are being accepted for a $10,000 grant through Hensall Co-op’s Strong Communities Initiative.
Co-op Manager of Marketing & Communications, Rebecca Hubbard, tells 90.5 myFM this is the third year for the grant program.
Hubbard says the criteria to qualify for a grant are very specific.
Hubbard says two local organizations have won money during the initiative’s three-year run.
Priority consideration is given to organizations that haven’t received a large-scale sponsorship or donation in the past 5 years.
