Three people have been charged with stunt driving in Perth County in a span of 26 hours.
Perth OPP stopped the first driver on March 6 at about 8:30 pm on Wellington Road 86 in Perth east. A 21-year-old from Listowel was charged with excessive speed and failing to surrender licence.
At about 1:50 pm on March 7th, OPP clocked a driver going double the posted 60km/h on Perth Road 131 in Perth east. A 21-year-old from Seguin was charged with excessive speed.
At about 9:30 pm, OPP caught another fast traveler going 138km/h in a posted 80. A 32-year-old from Sarnia was charged with excessive speeding.
In each incident, a 30-day driving suspension and 14-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused drivers are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date.
